Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of TV shows. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US and was granted asylum to remain. Her parents raised her two sisters and two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television by appearing in numerous National Commercials. Ghanizada starred as Chiara in Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose (2003). To commemorate the performance, she was nominated in the festival's Cannes Film Festival, for the Best Actress Award. The roles she played on television include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. In recent times, she was in independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009. She also appeared in the action thriller of science fiction Blood Shot. Ghanizada began her career in General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. In the second season of Nightshift, she played holistic doctor Dr. Saira Bastra. Ghanizada was a part of Kelly who was a Prada Sales Girl on HBO Entourage during 2009.
